FSD IN BRIEF

The Fundraising Support Division (FSD) represents the core responsible for boosting and diversifying the financial resources in the organisation, setting their sights on maintaining the financial sustainability of the activities and ensure meeting their demands through multiple fundraising methods. Additionally, it capacitates the local committees and members by conducting fundraising workshops and training.

History

FSD was established as a separate division in 2016. Since then +10 sponsorships, 2 Grants, 5 TOTs were established with the production of +20 trainers, 2 FR manual editions as well as rebranding the merchandise line twice.

Scope of Work

  1. The FSD works on developing an FR strategy 
  2. The FSD works on finding potential sponsors to maximise the benefit of IFMSA-Egypt events and activities.
  3. The FSD provides IFMSA-Egypt Merchandise and facilitates their sales.
  4. The FSD works on capacitating the Local Committees by providing multiple FR sessions and training including financial management, and budgeting.
  5. Application for grants in the name of IFMSA-Egypt.
